LARGO M flower planters are a green way to divide living spaces and patios with their height of 70cm. Clients from the gastronomy sector also like to use LARGO flower planters, such as for separating individual areas of a terrace from each other. This plastic planter tapers downwards and will make for a top-notch design object.
Plastic is increasingly being used as a starting material for plant pots, however, there can be major differences in quality due to the way they are produced. Plastic LARGO flower planters are manufactured using the rotational moulding process, which entails the heating of plastic granules which are then poured into a mould and rotated to distribute the plastic around the mould. This technique is much more complicated than the injection moulding process but it results in extremely durable flower pots.
The rotational moulding technique also enables the production of structured, matt surfaces meaning that LARGO M plant containers are barely distinguishable from flower planters made from natural materials such as stone. The planter also features an integrated interior container meaning that the planter only needs to be part filled with soil. The UV-resistance of plastic is dependent on the quality and composition of the starting materials. Plastic plant pots from the LARGO series are manufactured in Italy and are subject to rigorous quality controls to ensure UV resistance, so you can place them where you like - indoors or outside. When using outdoors, a hole should be drilled in the bottom of the container to prevent waterlogging.
